How does Unstranger work?

Describe the situation — where you are, who you want to talk to — and Unstranger suggests openers that sound like you, not like a robot. You can refine, save the lines you like, and use them anywhere.

Is it free?

Yes. Unstranger is currently free to use with fair-use limits on how many openers you can generate per hour.

I can’t sign in

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email. If you signed up by email and can’t get in, use the password reset on the sign-in screen. If an Apple or Google sign-in fails, try again in a minute — and if it keeps failing, email us.

How do I delete my account?

Open Edit profile in the app and tap Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Full details are on the delete your account page.

What happens to photos I attach?

Photos are processed in the moment to suggest an opener and are never stored. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
